These days you can't flip on the news or browse the blogs without bumping into some commentary about Rush Limbaugh's divisive, nonconstructive and idiotic statements about wanting President Obama to fail.
When these comments are rightfully pointed out to being insane, it seems one prominent conservative rebuttal is, "the liberals wanted Bush to fail for eight years, they just never came out and said it like Rush did."
Some of them probably believe that. But I'll at least speak for myself and say I wish George W Bush had been wildly successful.
